XX Cycles is a two-man bike building partnership with a history . And it's the kind of history you want if you are riding one of their creations. You'll benefit from a long and seasoned experience of over seventy cumulative years of motorcycle design, fabrication and mechanics between them.  And, individual customizing projects that now number into the hundreds over the years. X1 began working his wizardry on two-wheelers when he was just 14 years old. And it wasn't just a Schwinn bicycle he was customizing. It was a 74 cubic inch Harley Davidson panhead. He created the custom Harley XL depicted above -- with a single down tube frame of his own manufacture -- in 1975. X2 wasn't far behind. His first customizing work happened to a Triumph Tiger 500 when he was 18. Both men have now been practicing their craft for decades. For them, the learning stage happened and ended long ago.  What it is all about now is continual improvement that approaches perfection.
